Our Vision Statement
The people of First
Presbyterian Church are a family of faith created and called by God, inspired and guided
by the example of Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We purpose to be a
living expression of God's nature to all in our church, community and world.
Therefore:
We will joyfully celebrate God's grace through worship in the Reformed tradition with a message and in a manner relevant to a changing world.
Through Bible based programs for all ages we will educate and nurture Christian discipleship in our members for witness and service.
As a spiritual family we will be welcoming home which provides support and fellowship to all who come among us.
We will witness to and exemplify the gospel as Christ’s ambassadors through evangelism and outreach. We will serve others as an expression of our faith following Christ's hands-on approach for charitable service, and as agents of change for social justice and peace in the world.
We rejoice in our calling and we invite all people to join with us as we embrace the challenge and privilege of bearing Christ’s name.
